    • Me too-usually azaleas don’t do well in Chicago-the soil isn’t the best for them, but the azaleas at the botanic garden are always spectacular. If you ever get to Chicago in June it would be worth your time to see them.


  1. Sure- there are tons of things to do -if you like flowers, the Botanic gardens- Lots of great restaurants-on the north side, Andersonville is a wonderful neighborhood to wander around
    in with fun shops and fabulous restaurants-North Michigan Avenue for shopping or just looking-Millennium Park is a wonderful city park right on Michigan Avenue in the Loop- Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium, Field Natural History Museum, walking tours to see the architecture downtown, tours by boat of the Chicago river, Lincoln Park which is beside Lake Michigan and has Lincoln Park Zoo, a butterfly museum -and on and on….
